Khvicha Kvaratskhelia: Georgia's star man has a special request for Ronaldo ahead of match

Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is seeking the shirt of Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo when his two countries' teams face off tomorrow, Wednesday, in the final round of Group Six of the 2024 European Cup.
This will be the first time that Kvartskhelia faces Ronaldo, the five-time best player in the world, as the 23-year-old hopes to come away with an exceptional award regardless of the result.
Kvartskhelia told reporters on the eve of the match: “I don’t feel any anxiety about that because I dreamed of playing against Ronaldo and now it is no longer a dream. I hope to get a Ronaldo shirt at the end of the match.”
He added, "We are confident of our ability to win because we were close against Türkiye and the Czech Republic." He continued, "Anything can happen at any moment. You can achieve something that could be a turning point in any match."
Georgia has one point from its first two matches in the group stage, in its first major international participation ever, but it performed highly in the matches against Turkey and the Czech Republic.
Although the Georgian team occupies the bottom of the standings in Group Six, a victory over Portugal, which already guaranteed its qualification to the round of 16, will also ensure Georgia's passage to the knockout rounds among the four best teams occupying third place in the six groups.
