Chelsea have finalized the acquisition of Aston Villa midfielder Omari Kellyman in a deal valued at potentially £19 million.
The 18-year-old, having played six times for Villa's senior squad, has committed to a six-year contract at Stamford Bridge, with an option for an additional 12 months.
Kellyman, who earned two caps with England Under-20s, joined Villa's academy in 2022 after a decade-long stint with Derby County.
"It is fantastic to be standing here as a Chelsea player," said Kellyman.
"It’s a massive club with an amazing history, so it is great to join. It is a dream come true for sure. I’m buzzing to have put on the shirt and can’t wait to get started."
The teenager's transfer to London, potentially reaching £19 million with additional bonuses, marks the second transaction between the clubs in just 24 hours.
This follows left-back Ian Maatsen's transfer to Villa Park for £35 million completed on Friday.
Meanwhile, Morocco winger Hakim Ziyech, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, permanently joined the Turkish club earlier this week from Chelsea.
