Juventus have parted ways with manager Thiago Motta after just nine months at the helm, appointing Croatian Igor Tudor as his successor.
Motta, 42, exits with the Italian giants sitting fifth in Serie A, just one point outside the Champions League qualification spots.
The decision follows a string of disappointing results, including a 3-0 loss to Fiorentina last weekend and a heavy 4-0 defeat at home to Atalanta the week before.
Juventus also failed to secure a spot in the Champions League group stage, falling to PSV Eindhoven in the play-off round, and were knocked out of the Coppa Italia, a competition they won last season.
Tudor Returns to Familiar Ground
Igor Tudor, a former Juventus defender who made over 150 appearances for the club between 1998 and 2007, has been named as Motta's replacement.
The 46-year-old has a wealth of managerial experience, having led teams such as Hajduk Split, Galatasaray, Udinese, Verona, and Marseille.
His most recent role was a brief three-month stint at Lazio at the end of last season.
Tudor now faces the challenge of guiding Juventus back into the top four and restoring their status as Serie A title contenders.
Tudor's first test as Juventus manager will be a home match against Genoa in Serie A on Saturday, as the club looks to regain momentum and secure a spot in next season's Champions League.
