9 September 2024
Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nasr Saudi Club and the Portuguese national team, continues to pursue his success on and off the field, especially in the field of media.
The football legend launched a channel on "YouTube" several weeks ago, under the name (UR CRISTIANO), with the aim of communicating with his followers and fans, and presenting details of his daily life, in addition to exclusive interviews via "podcast".
Ronaldo's channel achieved record numbers in record time after his channel exceeded the 14 million subscriber barrier in the first 24 hours, to be able to secure the shields of 100 thousand, one million and 10 million subscribers in one day. As of the date of writing the news, his channel is close to exceeding the 60 million subscriber barrier, less than 3 weeks after the channel was opened.
According to the report published by the "TCR" account on the "X" platform, which is interested in following the news of the Portuguese star, Ronaldo's earnings from "YouTube" will reach $ 20 million by the end of the year.

Accordingly, Ronaldo's earnings from YouTube, 39 years old, will be almost equal to his annual salary when he was a player with Real Madrid, knowing that "YouTube" profits were in the last third of the year, unlike his salary with the Spanish team, which was throughout the entire year.
In a previous report by the Spanish newspaper "Marca", it was stated that the current standard rate paid by YouTube is about $ 6 per thousand views.
Since the launch of his channel, Cristiano has published about 20 videos with a total of more than 177 million views. According to these statistics, revenues can be estimated at between $ 1,200 and $ 6,000 per million views.
It is noteworthy that the Portuguese star is currently playing his third season with the Saudi Al-Nasr team after joining it in 2023 on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Manchester United.
