National team managers submitted their preliminary list of up to 55 players to FIFA on 21 October. Next they will have to select their official World Cup 2022 squad of 26 players for Qatar by 14 November.
The World Cup has always given a unique chance for players to shine on the biggest stage of all. For some it is a chance to breakthrough into stardom, for others an opportunity to cement their legendary status, and to a few it is a chance for redemption. One thing is for sure, all players will look to prove they are worthy of wearing their country's badge.
