Win the Euros or Resign for Southgate

England national team coach Gareth Southgate said that the European Nations Cup finals will be his last chance to lead the Three Lions to glory in a major tournament.
Southgate revealed that he will leave his position if the Euro 2024 title, which has been absent from the team's coffers for 58 years, is not achieved, ruling out the idea of staying until after the 2026 World Cup.
The 53-year-old coach said in an interview with the German newspaper “Bild”: “If we do not win (the title), I may not be here anymore. This may be the last chance. I think about half of the national coaches leave their positions after the tournament. This is The nature of international football,” according to the Eurosport website.
He added: "I've been here for almost 8 years, so I know that you can't keep standing in front of the audience and saying, 'Please wait for more,' because at some point, people will lose faith in your message."
The England national team is in the third group in the European Championship scheduled to be held on German soil, along with the teams of Denmark, Serbia and Slovenia.
